@dj898: I have no idea, I hadn't even seen these until I bought them, none of mine or Stu's betas are on either kind of disc. Granted it's not like we have a ton of them. Might be a way for Sony to charge more money? I really don't know. If you want some of these, PM me, I still have that Outlaw Golf that you see above as well.

I'm pretty sure that ive got a pair of the "master" discs that your talking about. Ive got a Runtime Library Release 1.0 and a EB Tool Chain Release 0.5.0 release and those special Sony discs look nothing like those.
My guess is that they the Cd-r's are for inhouse work, be it beta testing, demo builds for showing off ingame action. Pretty much whatever they wanted to use them for.

I've seen those before, but not with anything written on them. BTW I'm looking for $1 a piece for these (shipping not included), minimum order of 5.
