If you get the Collectors edition from Gamestop then it comes in a tin and you get a soundtrack for the game if you preorder it.....on the other hand if you get it from Ebgames then it doesn't say on the website about it coming in a tin and instead of the soundtrack you get a "making of" DVD... so my question is which one do you get and does anyone know if the Ebgames one comes with a collectors tin???

The tin from the Gamestop B&M stores doesn't include a soundtrack. According to my store, it comes with the tin, artbook, cell from the game, and something else I can't remember right now, which seems like a better deal than a sdtk.

Hmmm How strang if you go to Gamestop.com then its on the front page about the soundtrack....Maybe its just an online preorder promotion or something...

It's just messed up. Even the store employees don't know whats going on. My advice would be to preorder it, then if you don't get a soundtrack get your money back.

I checked the the GS website also. Remember that the B&M & online stores offer different "exclusives" because they are considered different companies by US Tax laws. When this was first announced, the soundtrack included at the B&M stores were the RE: Apocalypse movie sdtk. Who would want that?
And maybe I'm out of my mind, but what would you put on the game soundtrack, groans?

im just curious if only Gamestop is gonna have the collectors tin or not .... I agree bout the soundtrack though.....

Yes, unless something has changed, it is exclusive to Gamestop.

The RE4 soundtrack? I'm sure they'll find stuff. Look at SH 4, that soundtrack kicked ass and yet there is barely any music in the actual game.

True, but there is a huge difference bewtween Konami & Capcom when it comes to music.

Get what on PS2 or Xbox? There is no Xbox sku and the PS2 version of RE4 won't be out until "Winter 2005", sometime between Dec 05 & March 06.
But anyway, I checked, it is a Gamestop exlusive, it comes with an artbook, a cel from the game, and the tin itself.
Preordering it from B&M stores will include a soundtrack also. Unfortunately, it will be the RE: Apocalypse sdtk.
