my luck part 2

after hearing and replying to the plight of a fellow gamer about the unfortunate accident involving his copy of panzer dragoon saga wouldn't ya know something similar would happen to me.

my daughter is learning to crawl and she just happens to love the controllers to any of my video game systems, but she particularly fond of the ps2 controllers (prob the red light) but anyway she grabbed a hold of one and pulled the console off of my entertainment center and it came crashing to the floor. I was walking downstairs as this was happening and of course saw the inevitable result unfold but was helpless to stop it (it felt like a movie when diaster is unfolding in slow motion).

Anyway, now the tray doesn't open or shut properly you can pull it out or push it in (not well enough to play games) but it won't move more than a inch by pressing the eject/load button.

So......anyone know how to fix this? Anyone have just the ps2 console they are looking to unload?. Anyone want a ps2 console with the problem above?

Listen carefully as i am NOT responsible for what you do to your PS2, but i have fixed many of PS2 trays before.....sounds to me like your PS2 tray is of track and in order to fix this you must take your top off the PS2 then you must grab the tray and pull it out as far as you can WITHOUT breaking it then just push it back in all the way and that should reset the tray on the track...remember I AM NOT HELD RESPONSIBLE. But thats what ive done to several peoples PS2 when they brought them to me. And they've always worked just fine.
