I configured a PC with it, came to $3400.00 or so.

is there anyway just to buy the xbox? i know you couldnt use it, but so what, atleast you would have it for the collection.

I don't know if this counts as a Limited Edition XBOX - I don't think it's an official Microsoft product, so how is it any different from a simple mod or skinned box? US Xbox variants (counting only those which play standard consumer release Xbox games):

Standard Black
Halo Green
Mt Dew Lime
Launch Team 2001 Green (not released to public)
Bell World Blue (CAN)
Crystal (CAN)
EA Live Special White (not released to public)
XBOX Debug Kit (not released to public)

Really, that's not much different from other systems. The PS2 has 9 (standard black, the 5 colored LEs, the slim remodel, TEST, TEST HDD), PSX has 6 (standard grey, PSone, Yaroze, 10 Million, Green Debug, Blue Debug), etc.
