Back around the early 1980s, when I lived downstate, we used to get WPIX- Channel 11 (11! 11 Alive!), and they had a phone-in game called "TV Pix."
It worked like this: you telephoned the station, and they would put on a simple Intellivision game (they looked like games from that 4-pack "Sharp Shot"), and maybe something from the Channel F console (it's been a long time). You would say "Pix!" and they would press the fire button (low-tech days). In this fashion, you would try to score as much as possible, for prizes.
Is there anyone here who remembers this, and especially is there anyone here who actually played the game?
