Simpsons, TMNT, .89 trouble??

Just updated to the latest MAME for the first time in a long time and it won't recognize these two games. Well, at least the 2-player versions. Neither TMNT game shows as available. The 4-player versions work fine, but then you really can't select which character to be. I've only got 2 controllers hooked up. Any help?

Never mind, but odd nonetheless.....

I had to have all the different versions (Japan, Ocenia, etc) for it to recognize them. Why?

That's odd, I'll have to check mine.

I never have got Galaga to work. There must be some roms somewhere it needs that I don't have.
