I found out a couple weeks ago that we mistakenly took in an japanese castlevania: harmony of dissonance for the GBA. Another time, a father with his kids wanted to trade in some games, so I checked them out and found a japanese super mario world: super mario advance 2 for the GBA, I told him we couldn't take it (I would have bought it off him if it was smb 3 instead). Has anyone found any imports at gamestop/eb/gamecrazy/whatever?

I once found a copy of Sonic 2 for mega drive at a funcoland. It was weird. I actually made a whole topic about it awhile back I think.

About a year before the US Saturn's death, Electronics Botique used to have Saturn imports.

And Gamestop (when it was called Funcoland then), had some Saturn imports. I got Dungeons and Dragons Collection complete for 10 bucks and a loose X-Men vs. Street Fighter for 15.

No imports but I did find a boxed SMS game at EB once. They thought it was a genesis game of course.

Yeah. I found complete Japanese copies of Rambo III and ToeJam and Earl for Megadrive, and a loose copy of Darius Twin for SFC. All at EBGames, but not the same location.

Ah those were the days, weren't they? My EB also had saturn imports near the end of the systems life, I was even lucky anuff to pick up a couple of them like X men vs Street fighter and metal slug before they put a stop to it.

There was a Funcoland I remember once that had some import N64 games. It's been replaced by a clothes store since, though.

I found some PAL MD games at a Gamestop near here once...Pink Goes to Hollywood, Golden Axe, and Outrun 2019. My friend picked up Outrun and Golden Axe, and we left Pink. ;P

Of course they were loose, thus no interest from me...though I did wind up with a copy of Hiryu no Ken S for SFC (loose) in a lot of SNES carts I bought at a flea market. Terrible game, to boot. ~_~

That would be the case, yes LOL

In all seriousness, though, even the Goemon name isn't exclusive to Konami's series.

When it came out, the euro Shenmue 2 for Dreamcast was sold, packed in with a boot disc.

Mine from EB was $7.90 :P Same price for the Metal Slug, KOF97, RBFF, Castlevania, Samurai Spirites, Thunderforce V, and Vampire Savior I picked up, and a bunch of others I didn't. Around the same time, Babbage's had a more limited selection of Japanese Saturn games.

Shortly after Nintendo dumped the Virtual Boy, which led to it actually selling, EB had a bunch of Japanese games for it.

I got a Japanese copy of Pokemon Gold new in box at Software etc. for $20. I'm not sure why they ended up with that, but whatever. I've also seen Shenmue II PAL for Dreamcast at various stores on more than one occasion.

Our EB didn't because (to quote the manager): Imports are Illegal!

Then why were they advertising them in the back of their stupid ad/magazine thing?!

About a year before the US Saturn's death, Electronics Botique used to have Saturn imports.

The only import available at my EB was Xmen vs Street Fighter which I picked up along with Burning Rangers and Panzer Dragoon Saga (both domestic).

The cheapest I ever saw Radiant Silvergun was $60 at my local import shop. Damn it!
