jvc x eye wont power up

i won this item off ebay at a pretty cheap price and was warnedd that it wouldnt power up no clue what to do if anyone would fix for a price please let me klnow thanks

With the information I have so far, I'm stumped. Does wiggling the AC connector attached to the X'Eye help?

It probably has the same type of internal fuse as the Sega CD.

Might be blown ? :hmm:

hahaha well i got a great deal the x eye works i was going by what the auction said the genesis part works but how do i switch to play sega cd games if caN HELP LET ME KNOW THANKS

ok new problem now i got the sega cd part on but i get error please insert disc onto turntable i insert disc and it wont spin any ideas

Try checking to see if the little tab on the cd door is depressed when you close the lid. Odds are that it's stuck, if so, just take the X'eye apart and adjust it a little bit and then it will probably work just fine.

IIRC one time I found a JVC X' Eye for $2 at flea market and my brother wanted it so badly so I let him have it ... it requires a correct ac adaptor with correct voltage so be sure to check the voltage requirements ... hope this helps !
