EB Announces Zelda Pre-Order Perk?

Last night while at the local EB Games, I mentioned looking forward to getting Zelda WW to one of the Employees. He proceeded to tell me about how in Japan Ocarina was included with Pre-Orders. He said that EB was going to be doing that as well. In fact, he claimed Nintendo was only releasing Ocarina through EB pre-orders. Both managers at the store confirmed this, although none of them knew about the extra levels that also came in Japan.

So, the question is, did they get this info from the internet and are just lying to get people to reserve games, or is this something that came down from EB corporate? (Plus EB's web site says 'Stay tuned for a special pre-order offer.')

Any ideas?

I've heard they will all have OOT on them. EB is a festering zit on the face of the planet.. I haven't shopped there sense I pre-ordered for a Gold OOT and they gave me a grey cart...

Even NoA haven't officially announced it yet. EB are just merely jumping the gun. We believe OoT/Ura will be offered to US Zelda pre-order peeps, but how many, where, when etc is still not known...

So is the bonus disk supposed to be for ALL retailers or just EB? I preordered at Toys R US already.

Okay i don't quite understand what this extra disc is. IS it a zelda N64 game for game cube with new graphics and is playable? Is it a disc with previews of new games? IS it a disc with the N64 zelda's with deleted scenes and better graphics but isn't playable?

It's the complete N64 game Zelda:OoT with upped resolution plus the unreleased extention for the game, called Ura Zelda which adds new features and dungeons to the game.. all completely playable on your GC :D

They were just taking the lead from what they'd heard from EB retailers... as I said, no official announcement yet...

I think Butta's the one who showed me, but the EB online store has them as promos first. I think it was just last week when I saw it.

FYI a press release was posted on Nintendo's site then quickly pulled. They may be waiting for the right moment or something.
