Well.. not really.. but I am definitely going to try and "scale back" now for awhile.
Having said that.. I realized that I have "next to nothing" when it comes to game "memorabilia". Any suggestions on where and how to start? Looking at my games.. I'd prefer something having to do with the games I own (Mine are mostly "mecha" titles.. so maybe some Front Mission figurines).
I REALLY wanted that Klonoa plush doll on eBay last week.. but the $50+ price tag seemed a bit much to me (especially since I haven't gotten my hands on the game.. yet.).
There's a Vagrant Story comic book somewhere that I'm thinking of.. but I don't have that game yet either.. although one can pick it up almost anywhere pretty cheaply; and I HAVE wanted it for quite some time.
Aw geez.. a whole new world of possibilities..
.. and me.. so confused.. and once again "clueless".

..hehe.. dont laugh..
"Koudelka" for the PSX. Scored it on eBay tonight for $15.99 + S&H. Really not all that bad considering what it's been going for lately, complete on "eVilBay". I heard somewhere that the game is the prequel to the two PS2 "Shadow Hearts" games (Which I don't own yet); so I thought it would be a good start.
The one I'm particularly happy about though was getting Final Fantasy II a few weeks back (somewhere around #490.. I think) for $20; absolutely complete and in mind condition. I'd been looking for this one forever.. but always got outbid. Now all I need is the first FF for NES and my "domestic" FF collection will be complete (Well.. save for Mystic Quest; but I don't really count that one.).

Ive been collecting photos of famous game designers with horrified expressions of terror on their faces.
Basically I wait for them outside their house in the bushes then turn on the strobe light and really loud german techno music before jumping out at them wearing a blood splattered pikachu costume and wielding a rusty egg beater in one hand amd a polaroid camera in the other .
Ive got dupes of Miyamoto pissing/shitting himself if anyone wants to trade btw.

I've been collecting pictures of GameBoy's - Seeing as there are so many different ones out now!
Just think - If you owned the GBA SP in every variation... That's a lot of GameBoy for your money!
The two nicest are the original Famicom one (Competition prize in Japan) and the solid gold (Plated) Zelda one...
Oh, the pink "GameGirl" is also another nice one too!

I wouldn't laugh at Koudelka. It's a SNK game and as well all know, SNK owns my soul.

Sadly these are not mine. These kind of plushes only seem to pop up on yahoo auctions japan so if anyone wants to get them there going to have to use a service llike rinkya or somthing.

Don't get me wrong.. I'm not laughing at Koudelka (after all.. I bought it); I was just thinking of the mostly terrible reviews it got from game critics.. that's all; but then again.. I NEVER buy games I want.. based on what reviewers say about them. I buy games simply because I want them, and I enjoy about 99% of what I get. Believe me.. I've got some real "dogs" (Does a 2 out of 10 rating count? LOL ); but I like 'em.. and that's all that counts.
.. and yeah Importaku.. I seriously want that Mr. Driller plushie. Can you tell me a bit more about them? There's a guy selling a Klonoa plush on ebay right now.. I guess "UFO" is a brand/maker? He want $50+ and S&H from Japan.. is that a fair price?

UFO catcher is the name of the arcade game they come from, its what we call crane grab over in the UK. You know, it's a macine full of toys & you use the buttons to control the grabbing mechanism to try & pick one up.
In japan lots of items come from those machines, normally they are made in small amounts and only for a limited time. The mr driller plush comes from one of those types of machine making them rather hard to find there are serveral types with different facial expressions.

Right now in between buying NES games, I am buying all the NES related merchandise I can get my hands on (for a decent price that is). I like Mario stuff in particular. Maybe you should focus on 1 character that you like the most, and buy all the stuff you can that is based on it.
