I don't know if anyone else actively collects blue label for the Atari XE, besides Joe. I love it though!

It kind of depends of your defination of wierd. Some here collect a "unique" system becuause it definately stands out in a collection. For me I have a good collection for both the Vic 20 and the Astrocade. You have to love those Xenox double enders for the Vic-20. I am currently going after the CD-i Nintendo games for mere sake of wanting to see how tragic they are.

I would, too, if I had more money LOL
I collect some CD-i stuff (I still have a handful of games to get that I hear are actually very good), and of course any Japanese computer I come across (but my true love is the x68K).
Recently I bought a handful of Amiga games.
I collect anything with zombies in it: Castlevania, Resident Evil, Beast Busters even. Also anything with ninjas (too many games to count) or stealers-in. Finally, any sidescrolling shooter with a cute chick as the main character (sadly, Appleseed for the SFC is not a good example, so I don't get that). There's probably more, but that pretty much boils stuff down.
I collect some Neo Geo stuff; that's not so much wierd except for what being a Neo Geo fan does to your head (or wait, was that the zombies? It's hard to say now LOL )
I also really like soundtracks (have 0 at the moment) and game guides, import or domestic.
So yeah, I collect lots of wierd stuff, but it tends to be wierd stuff I *like.*

Any prototypes, Ubersaurus? I ran across one on eBay a while back. The VIS...gets no respect. Probably for good reason, but still... LOL

I had a complete collection of 32X games but I sold it off at the last PhillyClassic. I just got bored of it and used the cash to bump up my 2600 collection.

My most unique would be LaserActive (http://www.neo-geo.com/gallery/collections/vincewy/Pic3.jpg), not only are the games unique, so are the hardware (http://www.neo-geo.com/gallery/collections/vincewy/Pic4.jpg), lots of accessories and add-ons.

I like collecting any kind of weird, obscure console, espically handhelds. I also like to collect knock-offs of popular consoles and/or other territorial versions of different consoles.
/me crosses fingers in hopes of getting a Gamboy soon...

I'm trying to get all... four...? Select-a-game games, it's reassuring knowing I'm 25% of the way there. It's a great handheld, in my opinion, despite its extremely limited... everything.

N-Gage only because the games are cheap right now. I don't even own the system yet.

Oh as for me, I collect for N-gage, and I might start buying Wonderswan games since they seem abundant in numbers.

For some reason I love those Tiger LCD games. I've got some sonic and turtles ones, and I keep buying more... and never even putting batteries in them! They just look cool!

There is actually six released games (that system is in the database) I also have one and it is a fantastic system to collect for, I also collect for the Children's Discovery System too.

I have one R-Zone game. No system. I want to try and get them all eventually though.
Come to think of it that is the only game i don't have a system for...
I collect so much stuff related to videogames that i think anything i might pick up someone could consider wierd.
I will buy for almost any console if the price is right.
I for the most part have stayed away from anything preNES though (i got my Colecovision stuff for free :D) mostly because of prices, quality and the lack of what i see around where i live.

You have to love those Xenox double enders for the Vic-20. I am currently going after the CD-i Nintendo games for mere sake of wanting to see how tragic they are.
What the hell is a CD-i Nintendo? :hmm:

I would suppose he means Nintendo licensed games on the CD-i.
There were only like 5 at the most if memory serves. Mario Hotel, Zelda: Wand of something something, and some other Zelda one(s).
I don't remember what else. Sorry

4 games?
Try 6. So now you're halfway there.
I think someday I'll have to have an Entex Game Night. Beer and several hours of Entex ONLY fun. I should get 3 Football 4 units to have a tournament of 6 people, triple elimination.

Nice! That's one of those systems I barely cling to. Have you played the arcade cartridges? They are so bad, they could be adapted to an LCD calculator. The system barely stands on it's own merit. If I keep this, it will be in a storage container instead of on my shelves. I won't miss it one bit.

I have started collecting what I call black box system, you know the ones that look like a DVD player:
LaserActive
CD32
VIS
CDI
NUON
Maybe I should cut back and just collect for the VIS and CDI an I could say I am working on a really bad games collection. LOL Most all games for those two systems really suck. Zelda should sue Philps for defamation of charcter for that cdi game. -_-

Nah, I sold off most of my duplicates at PhillyClassic last year. But I do have a nice collection of pretty unusual stuff :)

Nope, those went at PC5 too, and I'm not parting with any of the other ones I have :)

Damn, how much did they run for?
Damn, how much did they run for?
They were disc-only copies, one had the "Demo - not for resale" text on it, which I sold for $50 and the one without any writing went for $75. I tried to be pretty reasonable with them, as I hate getting soaked for games myself.
