Fave NBA Jam "sequel." (spin-off??)

Not sure what to call them since there never really was a true NBA Jam sequel, but which one of these works best for you?

*Note: Jam TE and College Slam don't count because in theory, they are the same exact game gameplay wise. Even use the same graphics engine.

I'm going with Hangtime. It still kept everything that made Jam so much fun, added in some fantastic animation, a nifty spin-move, team dunks, and it was the first my fave player in the league, Brent Barry.

Oh, and just for fun, what's your most hated (vote on your favorite though!)?

Surprisingly, NBA on NBC was the reason I bought my first Dreamcast, and I don't even like sports games.

NBA Jam TE was kind of a sequel. I enjoyed the tournament so NBA Jam cant be my answer...NBA Jam TE is my fav.
I didnt play many of the home/handheld versions but there are a lot of them. Genesis, SNES, GBA, PS1, PS2, XBOX....

I like Hangtime and Showtime almost equally, but I think I'll have to give Hangtime the each. Nothing like playing basketball in a giant chicken suit.
