FS/FT: Gamecube starter set; $50 + S&H

OK.. here's the deal.. up until last week.. I didn't have a Gamecube.. last of the 3 latest-gen consoles I needed. So I finally break down and start bidding on some on eBay. As luck would have it.. I won two bundles. One came w/3 games; a GB player; and a mem card. The other came w/5 games; a Wavebird and 2 mem cards. Both had cables; and a standard controller. So like any good collector would.. I consolidated both systems; and am keeping what I want out of the two. Both of them are the black models and both were in very good cosmetic and mechanical shape (as I have tested them thoroughly). Ssooo....

Now I have one "Jet" Gamecube too many. I kept the one that has a more scratched up faceplate on top simply because the one I'm selling has a few small 3/4" "scuff marks" on the left side around the fan grating.. other than that.. it looks just fine. NEITHER of them had the cover (do they come with one?) for the big data port on bottom where the GB player plugs in (I guess they both may have had adapters plugged in and the owners misplaced them.); but they both have the covers for the two serial plugs.

I am selling the one black Gamecube w/a "standard" AV cable and power brick. It also comes with a 1X MadCatz memory card and 1 game. The game is Metroid Prime (non-Player's Choice version). The MP game disc is in very good shape and comes with a case; the original inlay; and a manual. The case is NOT an original Nintendo case though.. it is a Blockbuster one. The game is NOT a rental however.. I simply took it out of it's original case, and put it in the one that my Eternal Darkness game came in (Which WAS a rental.) The bundle will NOT include ANY controllers.. you'll have to procure one yourself.. I'm keeping both of the black ones. ;)

BTW.. both of these are the first models with TWO output ports on back (digital & analog) and NOT the newer cheaper version without the progressive capabilities (which is what I wanted). So basically what you'd be getting is the MP bundle that came out a few months ago.. minus a controller but with a memory card.. and the better model GCN to boot.

I'm asking $50 PLUS $10 S&H to anywhere in the US. Please don't try to haggle with me over the price or the shipping.. if I can't get that for it.. I'll simply keep it as a spare. I don't really charge for "handling" and the $10 is simply a figure I came up with. I will send it whatever fastest method I can with the $10.. be it parcel, 1st class or priority. Payment is in US dollars; and must be paid through my PayPal account. Sorry guys.. but this is a "US only" sale. First to pay me is the first to get it.. I will hold it for anyone for 24 hours.. but that's as long as I can wait on any one person.

As for the trade part.. my list of wants is short & sweet right now. If you think that what you can offer is worth more than the bundle.. I may be able to throw in a little cash as well. I'm looking for COMPLETE copies of:

Persona 2 (PSX)
Suikoden II (PSX) .. yes I would pay extra cash (considerable) for it.
Baten Kaitos (GCN)
Shin Megami Tensei (PS2)

If you have some or one of these, make me an offer. I may give you $ or ask for some.. depending on what your trade's worth. Also.. here's a link to some "orphans" I am needing.. so if you have any of them I could consider them in trade as well; with an appropriate "value" to them.

That's called the high speed port, and yeah, it's supposed to have a cover. Lowered price from $55 to $50.. but that's ABSOLUTELY the lowest I will go. I can sell it here locally for that much easily and not have to deal with shipping it. Come on guys! That's a great Gamecube for HALF the price of a new one.. w/a game AND mem card!

P.S. If you want the black controller.. I will throw it in.. but you HAVE to pay a price of $60 plus S&H. If you follow the link DS put above.. a controller alone is worth $25.. so THAT should sweeten the deal. The controller is like new.

Thanks DS! Wow! Cheap is right! I went to buy a $1 part; and ended up spending over $50 on stuff I didn't even knew Nintendo still sold! (Manuals, parts of other older systems, etc.).

No.. I'm sorry.. it has NO manual OR box. It's still available.. someone else was interested.. but also trying to raise the cash. I gave them a "semi-hold" which expires today. So now it's "first come, first served" again.

I quite frankly, don't know why anyone doesn't grab up on this.. it's a good deal.. but not to matter.. if it doesn't sell by next Friday at the latest.. it's going to my local Gamecrazy for trade; or maybe I'll just give it to my ex-GFs grandson.. or maybe I'LL keep it. I'm getting tired of trying to sell it. Then again.. there's ALWAYS eVilBay. Hmmm.. <eyes GCN>.
