NES R.O.B Question

I have a projection screen tv & i was wondering will R.O.B work with such a setup or will i be doomed into playing on a small crt tv??

I don't think so. If I recall, ROB was only designed to work on TV's 28 inches and smaller.

I figured i would just stick this here to let you know i will check it out.
I should have the instructions to my ROB.
I have never used it because i never had enough batteries. :(

EDIT sorry i can't find the info again. I might have found it online. But that 28 inch figure sounds about right.

Depending on the size of the TV you had to be within certain distances for R.O.B. to work properly aswell.

I had thought that special "big screen TV sunglasses" were made for the R.O.B.

Can anybody else back this up?

I think I remember some adhesive shades for rob...I never knew they were for big screens tho...My memories arejust of the instructions saying you should put them on him, w/o a reason why. Then again, I've drank a lot of beer since then.

the rob i have has the pair of eyes, while others i have seen have a straight lens, wtf is wrong with the cool one?
