This game looks very interesting. I loved Animal Crossing, and I thought this game looked as good as it. Is it ever going to come out in the US? I know it came out May last year in Japan, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

No plans to release it in the West yet. Though having said that, there have been rumours about a European release. Let's hope the team's next project Chibi Robo makes it outside Japan.

I heard it was canned in the US for supposed drug type references. Atleast that is what I have read.

yes, GTA has drug references. It's also rated M.
A whimsical cartoony game on Gamecube rated M = retail death anyways
Its target audience wouldn't be allowed to buy it!
