Definitly Mega Man. I never saw so many people waiting and wanting this to come out before. :)

Midway Arcade Treasures 2 is an excellent compilation. This time the developers got it right: decent interface, near spot-on emulation and a fairly decent selection of games. It's got an arcade perfect emulation of NARC, what more could you want?
Most of the interested people for MM AC moaned about the inverted controls... so this title wouldn´t be my first choice!

Mario 64 DS
Same. I actually have problems with everything on that list (except Pinball and Atari, which I haven't played), but out of the rest of them, it seems to me that only Mario had any sort of loving care put into its development.

Sonic mega Collection - a) it's got more games there than a lot of the other nominees b) the games are classics! c) they rock!

Megaman, of course. 8 of the greatest games ever on one disc.

Midway Arcade Treasures 2 is awesome... though, I'm still simmering over them leaving out the original MK. Can't win 'em all.

Mario 64 DS hands down. I was waiting for a port of that since Nintendo started rereleasing all the Mario games. I knew it was a matter of time before it showed up. And it was more than I had expected.

My vote goes to Mega Man Anniversary Collection, despite the minor control issues on the GC version. Mega Man 1-8 on one disc, and the emulation was spot-on.
Runner-up: Atari Anthology. 67 Atari 2600 games, and 18 arcade games, so there's definitely something for everyone here. No problems with the emulation on this one, either.

Megaman was great. I got the PS2 version so I don't know anything about these inverted controls people talk about. I'll probably pick the GC version up too when the price is right just for the other extras. This was really a great compilation all the great old stuff and some new stuff. I also enjoyed the remixed music.

Tron 2.0 GBA = first official release of the Tron and Discs of Tron arcade games since they hit the arcade in the 80s = a beautiful thing.

Even though I am a street fighter fan to the core, I have to give it to megaman. they basically gave you every game you could possibly want minus a very slim few. sfac was my second choice, but megaman was released way better than street fighter.
my 3rd choice was definately midway arcade treasures 2. mk2 and 3 plus narc, hell yeah

I voted for the Atari Anthology, beautiful emulation and spot-on gameplay. And the best rendition of the arcade version of Tempest that I know of.
Second place, Sonic Mega Collection. Same reasons, really. lol

Wow, so many good ones to pick from. hopefully the list looks this good next year.
With that said, I am still going with FF 1&2, I just can not stop playing this and am having such a blast. FF 1 on the go=\m/

Midway wins thanks to an arcade perfect MKII. I can play Mega Man all day long on the proper systems. Not much special there.

First off Katamari isnt a Retro/remake game. Please stop mocking the vote and +1ing the threads. Joke or no its not needed.
I voted for DOA, because they took an amazing beautiful DC game and made it run even smoother, slicker and better than it did (which is hard to do).

I voted for Mega Man.
Midway Arcade Treasures 2 was ok, but it didn't interest me as much as the first one. And I wish they'd have done a better job with the video interviews.

I went with Mega Man as well. That's just too much gaming goddness on one CD. The midway collection is a close second, though, and FF I&II is third.
