i was a pretty big fan of the first 2 Burnout games, and the third one trumps both of those. it might just be my favorite racing game of all time. yes, it's THAT good.

I barely chose Outrun 2 over Burnout 3. Both were excellent, but Outrun 2 had an old-school feel that grew on me.

My vote went to Burnout 3: Takedown. It made racing games exciting again.

My vote went to Burnout 3. I loved Burnout 2, and they didn't need to improve a thing, but they went and did it anyways.

Runner-up: Outrun 2. I haven't played it, but I really like what I'm hearing about it. If I ever get an Xbox, this will be one of the first games I buy for it.

Very tough choice, but I'm going with NFS Underground 2. I rented this a while back and was completely addicted to it, so I picked it up new at Best Buy for $38 the day after Christmas. Still playing the hell out of it right now, just wish that there were more cars in the game.

Burnout 3 is a hell of a game as well. In fact, my choice may change, but since I'm playing NFS more than Burnout 3 right now (I got Burnout 3 for Christmas as well, so I pretty much got both games at the same time), I'm voted for NFS. I can't wait to get involved with Burnout more, though; I had a complete blast with the little I've played of it.

My runner up game to these two would be Test Drive: Eve of Destruction, which is just as addicting as NFS and Burnout are. Too bad it was overlooked for the voting.

richard burns, we need to support rally games, as they're cool and entertaining.

I remember getting an import of rally championship and then driving 3 hours on a snowing track. The car barely made it.

I have loved to burnout series from the first game. It is sad that Burnout 2 lost to Need For speed Underground last year. Doesn't look like this will happen this year.
