GTA:Advance all the way.
Yeah, it's like gta 1 and 2.
But this GTA fixed EVERY PROBLEM that 1 and 2 had!

No Pokemon!? O_O

No one nominated this game. The nomination thread (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=48032&highlight=otto+awards+nominatin) was stickied for two weeks. Sorry.

If you wanna experience Metroid in 2D once again, you do like I do - vote for Metroid Zero Mission!

Voting Metroid because I didn't realize the Otto Awards had such impact on the industry.

Zelda: Minish Cap. It's the sole reason I got a Gameboy Player for my 'cube!

Mario DS by far! Mario Vs. DK at second for me.

I had to go with Feel the Magic again, though for sheer fun factor it would have been Mr Driller. FtM really shows that Sega has their act together in exploiting the system to it's fullest. Hopefully a touch screen controlled Space Channel 5 isn't too far behind.

Mario 64 had so much more to it than I was expecting. It was worth more than the $30 price. So my vote went to Mario.

My vote went to Metroid Zero Mission. A nice remake with all the 2D Metroid goodness of previous titles. A must-own on the GBA.

Runner-up: Astro Boy: Omega Factor. It's not often that a third party releases a GBA game that's better than the current-gen console title released alongside it.

Hmmm.....I'm going for Mario Golf: Advance Tour, which I just got for Christmas. Working through it right now, and I have to admit that the Golden Sun RPG elements are a cool twist on top of the proven Mario Golf game mechanics.

The only other game from this list I own is GTA Advance, which is good, as I enjoy the first two GTA games on PS1, but it really shows how far the series has come along in 3D. Mario Golf is definitely the better game, though.

My vote went to Mario 64 DS expected a near straight port from what I heard but it was much better. More of a remake than a port think of REmake compaired to the original Resident Evil. Thanks Nintendo you've almost made up for Super Mario Sunshine.

this game came out around the ds launch if i remember correctly, and they still decided to push forward with it. it was well worth it. even though i don't own this game, i have still played it. it is very, very fun. it has the gta 3 map with the old school bird's eye view from gta1/2. it is a very fun game and something the gba needed.

Bookworm....I'm a sucker for the quick-thinking word games, now disclaimer: I've never played it on GBA, only because I could NOT FIND IT ANYWHERE! I've played it on popcap.com and its a great change of pace from all the other gaming that I do. Too bad the run of GBA carts seemed to not meet the demand, everywhere you go to find it......out of stock :eek 2:

kingdom hearts, just cuz it pimps the gba the way it should be pimped.

Voted FF 1&2. As I have said before, I can not put my GBA down. This is such a great update. I am not even that big of an RPG fan. Just so much fun. The graphic updates are great.

See that's the problem. I think all the Brits here have voted for Minish Cap but sadly it's not out until next week in the US. If it had been released in 2004, it would cleaning up, it's THAT good!

(and don't just ask me, ask QoF and gamegirl79 who have both had it for quite a while too :) )

There are just so many extra little things and a ton of replay value.
Mr. Driller I choose you!

Sadly enough I'm not going to vote for a game that I haven't played yet. Since I don't have a DS and Minish Cap is not released yet, I'll have to go with Metroid Zero Mission.

Believe me, it wasn't an easy choice to make...

im going with advance guardian heroes, even though it lacks the greatness of the original...guardian heroes is probably in my top 15 games of all time, and one of the best saturn games....so i still enjoyed this gameboy title

Um, Minish Cap came out 1/10/2005 didn't it?! Then why is it listed here when this is a 2004 awards?! If you're going to list Minish Cap then Resident Evil 4 should be listed as well since it's so close.

EDIT: Not listed here I mean.. listed in general.
