Halo 2 seems to be winning ... oddly. I felt seriously ripped off with it. It failed to live upto the hype and by far is not the best thing I've ever witnessed!

The online part had hype? I remember talk about the party system, and a new matchmaking thing, so really the only thing that didn't really pull out was the ATV and shit.

It doesn't seem right to put a game like Halo 2, which just happens to have online capibility, up against a game like Worlds of Warcraft which is a 24 hour online world. Methinks it would be best to make them two seperate categories.

Seriously, it trumps Halo 2 in every single catagory. Modes, Graphics, Sound, replayability, no annoying little kids playing, maps, weapons, characters, modability. But of course its losing :roll:

Halo 2 was built for multiplayer. The story was a little how should I say it "short" and kind of dropped off out of nowhere, but the online is pure greatness. Bungie took so long because they knew thats what MADE Halo so good, and they did everything they could to make Halo 2 that much better.

Ain't it funny? Pop a mediocre shooter as a launch title for Microsofts first system and it becomes the "Best game evar". Forget the fact you can only hold 2 guns at once, there is only ONE FREAKING CHARACTER MODEL, and the whole game is boring as heck.
In all fairness, the game has style and some pretty nifty levels.

Now Halo 2 I'm having issues with so far...but when UT2K4 came out, yeah, that was the greatest thing going. I wouldn't say it feels like it's one of the "current generation," though; it doesn't hold up graphically to DOOM III, Half-Life 2, and probably some other titles such as FarCry. That counts for a lot, of course :P

Oh and GG @ Stu for killing a good joke. I'll remember to be talking about condensing that liquid water now LOL
