Easily Katamari, one of the few games in years that I didn't put down untill I beat.

Well considering we didnt get Katmari over here in the UK and I found Gradius V too hard ( :embarrassed: ) Although i prefered a few other games on the list, the game i've put the most time into is:
Paper Mario 2!
Joe. :)

Holy moly, Katamari Damacy is going to sweep EVERY category, isn't it? Can we consider rolling a sport and put it there too?
I'm going to go with Driller on this one. I think portable games, by their very nature, cater to addiction more than anything on the telly. Feel the Magic was addicting as hell, because I felt compulsive in getting my l'il girlfriend all of her l'il accessories, but it's no Mr. Driller. Mawaru: Made in Wario was probably a bit more addicting for me, but it's kind of not out here yet.

i went with Need For Speed Underground 2 because i didnt put the controller down until i beat it....but i easily could have picked
Donkey Konga
Feel The Magic XY/XX
Halo 2
Katamari Damacy
Mr. Driller Drilll Spirits
LeGIt

Paper Mario 2. Love the game! (Just regret I got it almost 2 months after release)

Although I really love the concept of Katamari and all, I was able to play it through on the day I got it and only unlocked the eternals later on. Gradius V on the other hand, which I got shortly after christmas, is way more addictive imo. I keep coming back to it, although I'm not very good, just to beat that highscore again and finally beating the boss of level 2 ;) So that's where my vote went.

Katamari Damacy. So much fun, and I'm still not tired of playing it.

I voted for Burnout (I played three of the games in this category, yay for me). I would rather spend time crashing a car than rolling a sticky ball around. Not to take anything away from KD, it is a great game.

Goddammit, there's just too many choices here. *walks away*

Once again it was a toss-up between Katamari and Paper Mario. I chose PM again because Katamari was so far ahead once again. But still, it's a toss-up. I love both. Fable is probably third for me. I did get a lot of enjoyment out of it.

When I voted for Katamari I figured I was voting for the underdog and Halo 2 or GTA:SA would take the top but damn its up there.

Katamari for sure, I woke up VERY early one morning (as my wife was going to work) I was basically sleepwalking.. went to bathroom, brushed my teeth and my wife tells me I grabbed a bunch of stuff and muttered "I'm bigger than this stuff" and went to bed. (2 hours later I saw a toothbrush, toothpaste, garbage can, scale, towel, soap dish, and roll of toiletpaper on my nightstand.)

I could've voted for either GTA or NFS Underground 2, but my vote went with Sid Meier's Pirates! Why? Quite a few times I would start playing around 9 or 10 PM with the intention of only playing for an hour or two; next thing I'd know, I would look at my clock and it would be 2:30 AM or later. Time certainly does fly when you're having fun. Even at that absurdly late hour, it still took quite an effort to pull myself off the game and go to bed since there was still so much I wanted to get done in the game for the night.

World of Warcraft. :P
Katamari Damacy is quite addictive and would have got my vote hands down but I've got 70 hours in on WoW already and I'm stil itching to play again. I think that qualifies as "most" addicitve.

My vote went to GTA: San Andreas. For the entire month of November, that was the only game I was playing on a regular basis.
Runner-up: Katamari Damacy, which kept me busy for a while.

Havent had a chance to play half this games.... to many choices. Still playing the hell out of Alien Hominid.

i had to go with burnout 3. katamari damacy was in a close second, but i picked burnout 3 simply because i feel it is way more addictive since you can pick it up and do 1 race, or sit down and play 300 races, it is all up to you. if i want some gaming and only have 5 minutes to spare, i almost always pop in burnout 3.
katamari damacy is very fun, but the levels are a little long. don't get me wrong, i own it, beat it, and enjoyed every single second of it, i just find burnout 3 way more addictive

I was a bit torn. Gradius V versus Katamari Damacy... I ended up voting KD, just because when I start thinking about what I have been addicted to in the past year it's the one I keep thinking of (even though I put a LOT more time in Graduis V). It's the one that stuck in my mind. So, KD gets my vote, with GV in a VERY close second.

Burnout 3. I can say I think I have played this game too much. Fun alone, fun with friends. Alwatys something to do. Something about slamming my car into another car at 100+ mph. Pure love.

Wow...this is a toughy. I want to vote for like half the games up there but I guess it goes to Paper Mario 2. I couldn't put the controller down when I was playing that game. Katamari is a close second.

this is a funny award probably for most of us. I would thing most of us here are addiceted to allot of video games I mean that's why we come here so often to talk about all the video games we love. Well in the end each of only gets one vote here and their was nothing more addictive this year for me than Katamari. This is the first current gen title to find its way into my top 25 of all time.

I voted for Katamari because out of the games listed that I played, it was not only the one that i played the most, but i played it all the way through, obsessing over every single level until i got the best score i could, the biggest bear or the most swans.
I don't even want to say how many times i played that Bear level...but it was enough to earn my vote ^_^

I just got Driller DS and cant put it down, I got Halo 2 and have already beaten it on 3 difficulties (of 4) however there isnt anything like the Katamari. It is crack in a videogame.

Katamari has this quality that makes me come back to it, again and again... redoing the levels, trying to beat my best scores, trying to get the Eternals... Even though it's a game that you can play only for a few minutes (by selecting only one or two levels), it can suck you in easily and expand those few minutes into a few hours.
That, my friends, is an addicting game.
