And I mean solid-state pinball, not emulation!

When I was a child, I was fascinated with pinball machines. That was back in the late 70s/early 80s... I never played pinball back then, but I always kept that fascination alive.

My personal fave of all times (for some reason) is the World Cup 94 pinball table. I always loved it, but it's getting more and more difficult to find it. It was the only pinball game where I got a free play because of the score. Maybe it was the cute dog mascot of the 94 World Cup that made me fall in love with that table?

How about you? What's your fave pinball machine of all time?

Tough one. It's gotta be a Williams table though. :) So many good ones... Firepower, Getaway, Pin*Bot, The Machine (Bride of Pin*Bot)...

But in the end, it's between Tales of the Arabian Nights and Funhouse.

Funhouse has the talking ventriloquist dummy head (Rudy) that mocks you. LOL How can you not love that?

But Tales of the Arabian Nights has so many badass things in it that defy description... the Genie, the "story" angle, the jewels... and it's got a niftier skill shot dealie too.

I think I'll go with Arabian Nights. But second place is a multi-way tie. :)

It's a tie between Black Knight 2000 and Star Trek: 25th Anniversary. Used to play the hella both machines in my USMC days.

My younger brother is an Addams Family junkie. One day when I'm rich and powerful (or score a succesful trade) I'm going to give him his own machine so he can Mamushka to his heart's content.

Probably T2. I've played that more than any other, and the only one I ever got double-plus-good at. I love the mirrored ramps. When you get in a groove, you can "figure eight" the ball seemingly forever.

Lately I've been hooked on Twilight Zone, and was really surprised to see the 'End of Zone' level (way cool).

Just as I was about to post "Haunted House" and "Time Machine," I remembered that I answered this same question with those same answers at one time!

Yup, here's the thread:

I invite all to resurrec t the older thread and I'll clamp this one down.
