I have had my CDX for about 2 years now, which I got at a swap meet for $5. It only was the system itself and since then I still havent found an AC Adapter for it. I had heard that the Genesis 2 Adapter worked, but upon closer inspection I found that it was 10V when the CDX needs 9.5V.

Someone told me about SegaParts.com, but I was wondering if they are a trustworthy site.

Anyone know of anywhere where I can get one?

I have ordered off of SegaParts, and I got my item. Its also possible that the extra .5 V will not make any difference, but I really dont know.

I dunno which AC adapter you need, but Sega-Parts has great stuff. I've ordered from them, and their items get to you fast and in great condition.

Yay for plugs!

I've used Sega Parts several times with no problems. Their prices aren't always the greatest.

My friend and I both have had CDX's for a while, and we've used Genny 2 power supplies no problem.

Oh really? I heard that the Genesis 2 adapter is fine for the Genesis part of the CDX but when you try the SCD part it resets itself sometimes.

The adapter worked fine with all 4 CDX's I've had... :hmm:
