Oh man, I just watched a video of Mario and crew in action and I cried laughing! It was just so freakin awesome to watch Mario bounce the ball of some tall dude's head and toss it up to Luigi to make a slam dunk. And Peach's got some AIRtime!

Because GC version has no online play, and that's EA/Nintendo's way of making up for that.

Peach gets airtime in almost everygame she is playable in.
I think this might turn out very funny or very very bad.
Lets hope for funny.
Anyone else see this as a possibly failing title?

I'd like to point out that this is still an NBA Street title. The Mario characters are just a bonus. Quite frankly, I think the only people complaining are either morons or morons who don't own a Gamecube and are jealous. :P

I know this means I'll probably own 2 versions of the game...one for ps2 and the gc one still exclusives like this are cooll

Or not. But i at least want to get the Xbox and GCN versions. I will probably pick up the Xbox version used or discount because i know that will get a much larger run.

I'm complaining. It's retarded. From the other discussion board where I've got to defend myself tooth and nail for any slightly negative thing said about Nintendo:
I see it more as an insult to the Mushroom kingdom than anything else. I still love Nintendo, and I'm still definitely not a fan of EA, but this is just... out of place. Really out of place.
Mario playing tennis, golf, baseball, whatever... with all his other pals is great fun, they're usually great games and no one really has a problem with that. But this is different, it's putting cute and lovable mario into ghetto central. It'd be no different than if you played as Mario in GTA, and I know damn well everyone would be just as annoyed with that as they are with this.
Mario is not a badass ghetto bawla, he's a platforming plumber with a sweet lady to save. That sweet lady also does not wreck the street hoops.
It's absurd.
