I am looking for any display boxes for mostly Nintendo games and systems.
Does anyone know where I could find these? Does anyone have them for sale?

You can try asking at Gamestop / EBgames, I've heard that people have had success with that.

What would be a price to pay for such a thing?

Actually, they give it to you for free. Well, at least, that's how I get 'em. It helps to know someone that works at GameStop. ^_^

It also helps if your a "good" customer. I find that they really like it when you reserve games and I always hit them up for store displays without names on them allready ;) Of course it does always help to have a friend who works at a game store too :)

So if I walk in to my local EB/Gamestop/etc, and just ask if they have any displays for games or systems (the DS box at my EB looks so cool) and make an offer on them, they will give me them?
I'm not the greatest customer, but I usually buy all my current-gen games from there (EB). Are you a great customer?

you'll probably have to ask them when the game that the display is for has had its run.
like Grand Theft Auto 3 or something... know what i'm sayin
thats how I got all mine :D
