The drive won't spin and the LED light won't even turn on, people tell me it's the fuse, but I can't find it.

It's a green part that looks like a resistor in the corner by the power supply.

Here you go :

http://www.mrvfone.com.au/sega/fuse.htm

And you don't have to put a new fuse in , you can just use a wire to bridge the connection. If you're sure you're using the proper power supply . :D

As you can see, there are two green ones near the PSU outlet...and since everything is so close together, I dunno what to do

I found FL301...it's that big black box, next to the green one on the right

Yet the website wants "F301" I don't know if they are the same..or different

If you have a voltmeter just check it and see if it's "shorted"
A fuse will be "shorted" if it's working and "open" if it's blown.

Ok I checked each one with a voltmeter and all seems fine, even the black box...

I get a reading on each one perfectly

Well you're not supposed to get a reading on a fuse.

Those must just be resistors.

With a fuse , if it is shorted like it's supposed to be you will get a 0.00 reading . Assuming you are checking without power.

If you check with power you will get the same voltage value from both sides. If it is blown , you will get a voltage reading from one side and nothing from the other.

Those might just be normal resistors you are checking.

Ok, I double checked, and I get nothing now on anything I try to read
