Man, even though it's IGN a 9.8 is insanity. I wasn't really pumped about this game even after getting a taste of it firsthand at E3, I've simply got too many other games to play right now but I might have to continue to put them on hold and go play this, and I've already preordered Suikoden IV...

I played the demo after perordering it, and LOVED it. In RE4 RE has FINNALY evolved, and it's evolution in the right direction. No more fixed camera angles, new manual aiming, and the abilitiy to jump out of windows. What more could you want!

Yeah, I just read the review over at IGN. AMAZING. This a a definate buy for me, hopefully next week when its released but don't know if I have the money at the moment.
It's the highest rated game for the GC now.

I read the ign review and was pretty suprised myself. I tried to resist i really did but i couldnt help reading all about it.

I haven't played RE since it originally came out and now this RE4 is on my 'must buy" list. It looks amazing!

I really want to see what GameSpot gives it, they are a strict reviewing publication, if it gets anything higher then a 9.5 then you can be sure this is one amazing game.

Anybody have an idea of what the Gamestop collector's edition of Resident Evil 4 looks like? I just went and reserved it and they didn't have an example of it anywhere in the store. Is it goin' to be similar to the Halo 2 collector's tin?

Well, I don't have the halo tin, but yes it does come in a tin.

I cant wait to play this game Ive always got a new RE as soon as they came out although I still need to get outbreak.
Ive decided not to get another 'cube until they hit maybe $70 or less so I guess Ill have to wait for the PS2 version of RE4.

Go To Gamestop.com, they have a photo of the tin, it is dark maroon/red.

I pre-ordered it overnight shipping :D
