Where is a good place to look up Atari 2600 game modes?

Ok, so I'm fairly new to this Atari biz, so deal with me: I pop in Defender, and then notice that it has quite a few different game modes (like most Atari titles). This one has 13 (26 if you count the two-player ones as well). The only problem is, I'll be danged if I can figure out what the difference is between each one. So, if anyone can give a site where it has a listing of every mode for each game, I'd really appreciate it. I tried looking at Atari Age, but there doesn't seem to be a listing there.

This is the best I can do with the TXT file that has the final page of the manual (which describes all of the options). You might want to cut and paste and realign this a bit.
