She cannot say basement, she says " ment " while standing at the door, and then says " party party " because my 5 yr old son and I play lots of Mario Party on the GC, or the Shrek Party on the XBOX. So we go down to play and she sits with us while holding a controller from another of my systems as she watches. Soon I will have to buy a third controller for each of my systems that supports it.

Game on!

This is good news for me as my wife is expecting in March and I'm always joking that it has to be a boy so that it will be a gamer *ducks from fists of female members* it's good to know that this is now a non-issue.

Hmmm.. Methinks that if you knew there were female members to be hitting you for that comment, then you knew this was a non-issue anyway. In that case, you're just a royal brat. I hope she grows up to beat you at all the two player games you play ;)

I think girl gamers are cool... there just aren't enough of them though.

My 3 year old loves Starfox on the GC. She always asks if we can play the fox game. She just uses the knob and has them run around the screen. She thinks the object of the game is to find their mommy and daddy. I guess at 3 years old its all about being with mommy and daddy

We can get as busy as we want but there will be no more little Stonecutters or Stoncutter'ettes, not from her, she took care of that matter. I have a rich mans family.... I am just a little short on pocket change though lol.

Thats not to say I wouldn't adopt some very young girls and teach them to appreciate this fine hobby.

About the little ones beating parents, its incredible how well they pick it up. There are some games my son can be me at already. We also make a good team playing Kingdom Hearts which is another we play alot lately.

Since I have done my part for girl gaming, I now recommend all other DP members go forth with this goal at the appropriate time for them as well.

Hah! Didn't even think of that.. I've been approaching my boyfriend ALL wrong about this baby-making business (in a FIGURATIVE sense!)

"Honey, we should have a baby. We need more gamers!"
