Im sure this has been discussed before, but I cannot find (or search, strangely) for the topic. If you dont know, a company called Messiah now makes wireless controllers for the NES and SNES. They use radio signals instead of IR, like some existing wireless controllers.

I was just wondering if anyone has tried these. I was thinking of getting some, but at $30 a pop or $50 for two, I am reluctant. I was just wondering what people think of the overall quality of the controller, and specifically how well that strange D-pad thing works. Also, what does the "reciever" thing look like?

Hopefully somebody can answer those questions. Thanks.

I have never tried them myself, but I have heard from others that they work great! Many people list them as their favorite controller for the NES. The only gripe they have with them, is that the D pad is too sensitive, but in time you will get used to that I would suppose.

I have a set and that's exactly how I feel. I really like em...only gripe I have is the d-pad being oversensitive and spinny. They work great tho...very high quality too!

The search feature appears to not be working for me, so I can't give you the link to the old thread. However, I can tell you that their products are great and well worth the money if your a NES (or SNES) fan. The controllers work great, and just generally look cool (especially if you get the double pack lunchbox). I know there are plenty of people who posted in the old thread that are pleased with theirs also.

Here is a copy of my brief review (including pictures) of the SNES Messiah Controllers. I'm another satisfied customer!
