Guility gear x 2: I played as ex slayer and when fighting I back stepped and kept charging punching my opponent till he was dizzy than I quickly instant killed him while he was subdued. ( I did this like 15 times on a new player)

halo 2: Everyone was in a fire fight nearby so I threw a grenade ~_^ into the croud and the last few who were alive i killed with the convenant energy sword

Steel Battalion: Line of Contact -- In a Free Mission Battle Royale, I took a Scare Face and sniped n00bs. On the one hand, I felt bad about taking advantage of their n00bishness. On the other hand, they had to learn about the sniper rifle sooner or later.

Besides--I needed the practice. :-P

eventhough i don't like halo, that is a common strategy, trow a nade, and kill the wounded.

I prefer to snipe, and toy with my prey, shot them in the legs, just wound them, so they start getting afraid, or start doing dumb things, like crawling and jumping.

That's not cheap. Every once in a while when I feel I'm vastly outmatched I'll hide somewhere and wait for someone to run by, mainly ontop of the buildings in bever creek over the portal.

In Crimson Skies, my friend and I both picked Pirahnas and went after the same guy.We didn't fire normal bullets, but rather, alternated shots with the stunning tesla coil. This way, he couldn't move anywhere, or even escape our shots. He crashed, we got points, he respawned, and we did it again to the same person, pretty much by sheer luck. Ended up making about 4 people quit out of games with that LOL

Jump in the middle of fights in halo fully charged and kill everybody. I rarely ever do that, only when i'm desperate for kills.

Halo 2:

- A friend will drop in the top of the base in Coagulation while I wait up top, he tosses me the flag up and I disappear through the teleporter...I'm halfway home!

- Also on Coagulation, getting both snipers is a key to victory. Ask the team that went 50-11 against mine last night :D

- You can grab the flag through the bottom of the base in Coag also.

Damn. I guess just catch me on Coagulation.

All the flag capture techniques are totally legit. Throw it up ontop of the base on coag, throw it out of the gate on zanzibar, throw it ALL THE WAY ACROSS Collossus (my fave, totally unexpected).

Yeah. There are a few more that border on "legit" if you catch my drift. Here's a little detail on those:

- In Zanzibar, when you grab the flag, run up the first set of stairs and drop it on the left side as close to the wall as you can. If you do this corrrectly, your teammate (or yourself) can grab the flag through the wall by jumping on the boxes outside the front right door entrance.

- The same thing can be done in certain spots on Headlong. Once you get the flag on the floor level, if it's close enough to the wall, there are a few spots where you can grab it through the wall there too.

Also, I'm sure some of you more avid Halo 2 players have already seen this, but the "sword trick" (no, not flying) can be done with a couple of weapons. I've got a buddy who can do it with not only the rockets (the most common way of doing it), but he can do it with the sniper rifle as well (pretty sure the battle rifle, and thus the carbine also qualify). Basically you change weapons really quickly once you get a red reticule and the sword thinks it was the weapon that got the lock-on, so you go flying way across the map. Sometimes it's useful, sometimes it's a waste, but it's at least interesting.

How do you do it with the sniper? It doesn't turn red unless you're zoomed, and then I'm pretty sure it won't work.

Killing people with grenades is what you're supposed to do, totally expected. Now my fav is to sit in a ghost in the oponents base, like Sidewider or a place like that and keep moving back and forth running over people untill it keeps saying "Killtacular" over and over. Great times.

Also I like to fly at people near a cliff in a banshee and hop out. Everyone automatically tries to jump in and kcik you out so they get in. You can then counter by knocking them out as soon as they get in. At that point you're moving and you throw them off a cliff. Man I get dity looks and some cussing with that one. LOL

You know what really cheap tactic I have come across on Halo 2 that pisses me off is when a team falls behind 2 - 0 in assualt the other team will hide with the bomb and try to make the other team quit :angry: I had a game last 1 1/2 hours because of assholes like this. I am a stuborn guy , so me and my clan waited it out and finally found the bomb carrier was on top of the roof so we all chucked grenades up there until he died. :P

What made things worse was when it was all done the other team was pissed and cussing at us :roll: Please oh please dont say any of you do this , I will lose all respect :/ That tactic involves no skill what so ever.

Flag bounce on Colosus is a neat trick. Tossing the flag up on Coagulation and going through the port is a good tactic. :)

Honestly, your guess is as good as mine. I can't do it personally (hell, I can't even do it with the RL 9 times out of 10). My friend made some videos of it I believe. I'll ask him next time I see him for a URL of where he uploaded them. His gamertag is 'ajniN etihW' if you want to look him up and ask him.
