I was reading this article and came across this at the bottom.
Since December 2003, the Japanese company has sold more than 2 million copies of the game (DDR) — a teen phenomenon at Japanese and American arcades in the early '90s.
Is this right? was DDR popular in the US in the early 90s? I lived overseas for most of the 90s, but I don't even remeber a mention of DDR until the late ninties at earliest.
