Sorry if this has been brought up before, but I was wondering what the consensus is here?

And, on the box it doesn't say, but could anybody tell me if the game "Diner" is included? I always wanted to play that one, but never got to (and my computer emulator version doesn't work :( )

No, it's not included. Intellivision Lives! doesn't contain games under license (with the exception of one of the games, can't remember which one off the bat, which was included on the PC version (dunno about the GCN version) under its original development name.

stick with the PC version, and fill in the missing ROMs from the web

plus the numberpad on a keyboard is the best way to emulate the INTV keypad

The company that did the package said that it emulates all 16 disc directions, so it's already better then the PS2 version.

I liked it, even though it lacked the licensed games, Night Stalker, Astrosmash, and Frog Bog are all too sweet to pass up.

Excuse me for asking an obvious question, but am I to understand Intellivision Lives has been ported to the 'cube?

You are correct, my friend...

However, the reviews so far are not good... maybe it'd be better to stick to the Mac/PC version (because of the keypad).

I don't know how much extras were included on the GCN version, but I doubt it could be nearly as complete as the PC version (which has individual history files for each of the featured games, plus video interviews with some Blue Sky Rangers, plus some of the old ads - available from the start, NOT as unlockables... You can also print out the overlays for your keyboard.).
