I finished Metal Gear Solid 3 three times on Normal and then I lost my Game Save.

So I decided to play it again on HARD, I beat it last night and I stil want to play more.

Infact I started it again. I just love the whole JUNGLE enviournment and the STORY/Stealth in the game.

Has this happened to you with anygame ?

Well I've beaten Metal Gear Solid I dont know how many times. Hell I played half of it today, over at hellvins.
I must have beaten that game at least a half dozen times, probably more.

I was that way with the first Metal Gear Solid (I love 3 as well, but I haven't had any time to play it!)

When Super Metroid came out, I beat it fairly quickly, and then continued to beat it over and over and over again trying to get the lowest time. I love that game so much, and I could never get enough of it. I used to love just going through the opening sequence and seeing Samus land on Zebes during the thunderstorm...I still do.

I play through Y's III on the Turbo-CD every couple years just because I love the music and the ending so much.

Yes...Phantasy Star Online....played OFFline. I've created SO many characters over the years.

Then of course...any Gran Turismo, Codemasters or Namco racing games.

For some weird reason, I feel attached to the GBA version of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. Even though it's a short game, the different character class makes no difference whatsoever and it has its annoying quirks (ie. no recall to get out of levels), I have played through that game several times already. I'm starting to get tired of it now, but I'm sure I'll come back to it again on an occasional basis.

The Super Mario games (particularly SMB 1, SMB 3, Super Mario World) are also some games that I come back to once in a while. Although I do have to admit that, the time I tried out SMW on the GBA in a store, I turned off the GBA after a few minutes because I was being bored with it...

Zelda, super metroid and final fantasy 1 coming in a close second for number of times beaten.

Every Year I get a ROM image of a gameboy game called "Great Greed". It's an RPG...and not a bad one at that. I USED to own the actual game...until I lost it. :( I look for it every year...hoping it's hiding in some corner...alone..crying.

Well..I then play it...and beat it. It's a Quiry RPG that revolves around Food Based Names ( Nation of Escargot, Spagehtii Nation..) and a villians master plot to rule the land through pollution (Bio-Haz) ... though there is no "Keep a clean Enviroment!" message here.

The Story basica goes.... You're in the forest with your dad one day,.... when some crazy witch by the name of "Microwave" and a memeber of Bio-Haz's Hunter group "Hunter" Pop into your dimension! Uopn making sure the witch is okay, Hunter arrives... and you're accidently taken back along to thier dimension. ...on the Island of Royal Refuge where the king and queen of that world have taken refuge from Bio-Haz after being driven out of thier nation. OF COURSE the only way to get you back is the Main spellbook held within the Capital Nation of Burger. As it appears...beings from the "Third Dimension" are more powerful ... as you show in a display when Refuge is attacked. You Flee with the Kings Eldest Daughter into a tunnel cave thats used to travel... and you're adventure begins to free the Land of Greene from Bio-Haz and his Hunter group.

Seriously... if yer lookin for an RPG you have'nt played yet...go play Great Greed.... it's fun and quirky for a GB title. :-).

I play through Mario RPG at least once a year.

I play through Super Mario RPG at least once a day </sarcasm>

But seriously, I can not think of a game that I have played through more time than this one. Shenmue is probably a close second, followed by Zelda: OoT.

I used to play through Chrono Trigger at least once a week I swear, but that was around when it first came out, and this thing called "time" existed.

I too enjoy this game. My cart disappeared a long time ago, but I played through the ROM a few months ago just for kicks. This was my first RPG, so at the time I though nothing of the funky names of the characters and places. But seriously, they are screwed up. I mean for God sakes the dog's name is Calorie! Probably the worst RPG translation ever (even the names in the credits are screwed up). The game lost a lot of its meaning when they brought it over. But it is fun, has a unique battle system (no menus) and is funny as hell (well funny because of how generic and strange the dialog is)... and the ending is pretty cool, pick the girl you want to marry! So there's like 4 different endings and a good bit more to do after the credits roll. Here's a interesting fact about the game though. When I replayed the game again i noticed the following in the credits:
American Version Production: Ken Lobb. I figured that's the same Lobb from NoA, but maybe not? The game was published by Namco, but I guess Lobb could have worked at Namco before NoA, or maybe NoA helped the localization?
