Can anyone give me an idea of what a CLD-A100 Player is worth if it is unboxed, has a couple dents and some blemishes + comes with the Sega Pac.

I am being offered one for $150... good deal or not?

If it has the remotes and a few games as well, I think thats almost reasonable. See if you can haggle down a little though.

If you don't have to pay shipping on top of that, and it is guaranteed to work, then that’s not a bad price. However, I personally wouldn’t pay more than $100. I have bought 2 for that price or less on eBay and seen many more that I didn’t buy so with a little patience and hard work I’m sure you could too. It’s up to you if it’s worth it to save $50. :)

Heh, I paid $300 for mine... but I needed a good one FAST and it did come with the remote.

It apparently has the remote, Sega Pac, 1 controller and is in "ok" shape appart for a dent in the bottom left corner.

Unfortunately no games.

Well i just closed the deal for $150 shipped and he is giving me Pyramid Patrol as an "extra". (CLD-A100 w/ remote, Sega PAC (boxed) with controller and Pyramid Patrol). The player has a couple dents on the back but the seller garanteed it to be working.

Can't wait to try this... and now I am doomed as I will need to spend "mucho dinero" for games to entertain/justify this new collection piece :D

Well, now I'd have to say it sounds like you got a good deal! Congrats :D

I do recommend picking up some more of the Mega LD games (eg. Triad Stone) but in the mean time, it is still the best way to play Genesis and Sega CD games which can be had quite cheaply.
