Just wait for a US release. I don't see what's so special about it, that makes everyone have to import it, and they can't even read what's happening.

Yep. I have one. :-P

Pre-ordered & bought two, then sold one on eBay, so technically got the second for free!

The Japanese and the US versions are exactly the same...except for Battery life, maybe. A long time customer brought a PSP into work the other day, and I saw it, and I have to say, spending 500 dollars to import was definatly not worth it. Wait for the US version for sure, and in the mean time, go grape nuts crazy with your DS.

It should be out here in a few months, there is no reason not to wait, cause right now it's $439.00 on lik-sang. That's crazy, with that much you could buy almost 3 U.S release ones.

Plus it is Sony, who knows what kind of problems the first batch is going to have.

It's all about the games, and it doesn't have any games that would make me want to buy it right now. Of course, I will get it when it's released here, because it will have the must have titles... GTA: Liberty City and Midnight Club 3! So excited! I love you Rockstar Games!

You wont be able to read the music UMD and and the movie UMD's that Sony will release with the PSP. So I mean, if you really want to spend $500 on importing? :hmm:

But I have to say, Ive been tempted to import one. One of my friends has one and it's amazing!
