I picked this up shrinkwrapped, thinking I might play it or keep it sealed. It appears to be relatively common.

Nevertheless, should I open it up to play it?

I don't play much games (no time- like 3 hours a week at best) so if it's not worth playing for 20 minutes, I'll leave it sealed.

I have heard that the game sucks. I would leave it sealed. If you need a Qix fix, just play one of the other versions.

That is my opinion.

I like the game...it's just Qix with different kinds of enemies. I figure if you like Qix, then you can enjoy this game. But it's certainly not a must have title. I have seen a bunch of them around, so I'm sure it won't be worth much.

Qix Neo is probably one of the most common games I have ever saw

That's odd, we never see it in RI or Southern Mass. I bought it and I saw it one other time when it came out, that was it. I thought it was rare, just goes to show how much where you live affects rarity.

The game is just like the Genesis version, it's just ok, not nearly as good as the Game Boy and NES versions. It plays a little differently too, there's no speed button, and the enemies are like aliens and spaceships. I guess I wouldn't go out of my way to open it.

if not, the 5200 version will do just find (in my opinion)

its so damn common, just open it and see if you enjoy it. There's 4 sealed copies traded in to my nearby half priced books so I don't think you're never gonna see a sealed one again.

I personally thought that it was very good--it includes the Genesis version as well as another mode with different levels. A warning, though: you probably won't play more than 20 minutes.

Verdict: no crack. It stays sealed.
