Hi, this has probably been posted hundreds of times, but I bought a brand new black Gamecube today, and bought Metroid Prime for it too. Quite like the game, even if my first impressions of it aren't spectacular (colours too bland, controls feel a little 'basic', don't know how else to describe it). Thing is, I was wondering if anyone could recommend games that I should buy for my Gamecube, that have good playability and are really fun, or are blessed with Nintendo uniqueness. You know, original games that only Nintendo would make. 8-)
Any recommendations would be appreciated. :)

Well, this little game called "Animal Crossing" has a bit of a fanbase.

Thanks for link, I'm browsing it now for any titles that catch my eye, although peoples opinions on WHY they think that game is good would be appreciated too. Keep 'em comin please.
Damn, you can get 'Skies of Arcadia' on Gamecube?!?! That was such a cool rpg, if only for the unique setting! Floating boats! Got in on DC already though; are there any differences between the two versions?

The two Super Monkey Ball games are both great fun, in both single and multiplayer. You should check out alien hominid, as I can see from your avatar that you like metal slug style games, and that is exactly what that game is all about.
Waverace, Sonic Heros, Warioworld, Soul Calibur 2, Viewtiful Joe. That's a start. Get a GBA player too. You won't be sorry.

Please keep discussions to the other thread linked above please. We've got about a half-dozen of these "What GC games should I get?" threads a week. :)
