Sounds kind of like The Ring with videogames. I hope it bombs.

Mostly been done.
Arcade was a movie about games killing people in a ring-ish fasion(well, it had dead bodies in front of staticy TVs I think) if I remember correctly. This movie sounds more generic than that. McGee doing the game world might turn out fairly cool but likely this won't go anywhere, oh well.

This sounds an awful lot like "How to make a Monster"...about this crew of game programmers make the "ultimate" FPS...and the body suit used to make the monster move comes to life..and slaughters everyone...wee cheesy

I was literally about to stroll into this thread and announce that I would be withholding my movie-ticket-buying dollars for the aforementioned Pac-flick.
I don't think it's gonna happen now that Brando has passed on though. I mean, face it, he was Pac-Man.* The rumors of recasting the part with Roseanne just aren't setting well with me.**

I worked for a producer that was involved in developing the Crazy Taxi movie. I wonder what ever happened with that.
