I found a bunch of factory sealed Atari games at a local store recently, priced around 10 to 15 bucks a piece. Mostly Activision, they included Oink!, Plaque Attack, and Megamania.

Are these worth a great deal? Should I rush out and buy them now?

Well , Oink and Plaque Attack show up New/Sealed on Ebay for between $10-$14 a lot.

But if you collect for Atari , you might want to get them for yourself.

Re-sell, probably not a good idea.

Yeah, I'm not much of an Atari collector, aside from having loose copies of the games I played as a kid.

I see sealed "Wrecking Crew" for NES going for a lot, and that's not a particularly good game... so, I figured maybe old Atari games were similar. (Although I doubted it.)

Thanks!

Which "Exchange" did you go to? I see those things in there all the time. Nice to see someone else from Crakron in here

If you were just looking to resell/trade them I wouldn't bother. These are the only Activision games that you might be able to make a profit on:

Beamrider
Checkers
Cosmic Commuter
Double Dragon
GhostBusters
H.E.R.O.
Kung-Fu Master
Pitfall II: Lost Caverns
Private Eye
Rampage
River Raid II

Same here, all the Exchanges here in the Cleveland area also have sealed copies of those games.

There must've been a big warehouse buy somewhere along the line for those guys, as all the Exchanges in the Pittsburgh area have em too!
