It's called a "Neo Fami". They have been for sale on ebay for quite some time now, and usually sell for around $40. I guess they are all over Japan, and are actually made very well.

Just another Famiclone...the Famicom is the most copied games console in history, no doubt. I'm sure there's dozens, probably well over a hundred, variants on the theme. It's legal to make a machine that plays FC games, just so long as you don't include any copywritten/patented bits.

It's not a clone if it can't play at least some original Famicom games, yeah? Just about any "Famiclone" will play a good number of FC games. Now strictly speaking, it's possible for somebody just to rip off the FC's hardware design, but that'd be pretty stupid if it wasn't compatible...

it plays them all... ours come with a pin adaptor for nes games as well... they're well built machines with suprisingly good video output

I like how this website is hawking this famiclone as the "Model 3" as if it is the official successor to the toaster and the top loader. And notice how they're throwing in the requisite pin adapter.
(/digs around on the website a bit)
So the "Model 3" is only $50...but a toaster NES (which according to them is "King of the oldskool!") is $80 :? .
OMG it gets better! $129 for a 4-switch Atari 2600 and $10 more will get you a PS2. ROFL
Here's my favorite:

these "neo-famis" are great for playing famicom games, but NES games seem to fit kinda "loose". the picture is pretty good though
