So, I sit down with MAME and decide to play Rambo III, the European version. The US version is pretty blah so this was a pleasant surprise. Anyway, get through it and head to my laptop to write the review.
I write everything in MS Word (for spell checking and all that stuff) and then copy and paste it into a HTML tamplate that Joe sent me. I write the full review, copy it, and then close Word and go to paste it into the template. I delete the review that's already in the template... or so I thought. Instead, I accidently clicked copy again. Yep, I copied the text in the template which overwrote the text of the review. Since I closed Word, I was screwed.
After I throw a fit, I decide to re-write it. I get two paragraphs in and the power cord slips out from the laptop when I move ever so slightly. I have no battery (it's dead) so out goes the power. Review attempt #2: Gone.
I restart, this time I'm determined. Get one paragraph from the finish and I get the awful, awful "Program performed an Illegal Operation" screen. Son of a bitch. Nope, it's my fault that I didn't save earlier, but this is a sign. I know it is.
I'm not writing it again. I'm done. There are some forces more powerful than me that are just determined to thwart my attempts. Why? The first one was good too!
So, to Joe: Here's the review:
This game is fun.
I'll send a screen shot and you can slap it up there. That's basically all it said anyway. LOL
