I got it in, up working, wow. and i mean wow. Everytime i win a football pool at work(250-350) it's going twords some games.

Question 1. All 9 games that i got work, except for Baseball stars pro. When i first plugged it in it worked for20 seconds w/sound. everything then got garbbled. Sounds never worked again. Game plays great, just no sound. Cleaned the hell out of it. This happen often? I think i understand the boards are split sound and graphics. Is it one board giving me trouble...what board is that, i will go over the systems contacts then and see if thats amiss, but again it's the only one of 9 that i just got that has any sort of problem like this.

2nd. Is there anywhere to get boxes at, 2 games i have and BSpro was one of them were loose, boxes look so cool, i would just like them and maybe fidn a photo copy for the insert.

3rd. when i see one some sites and ebay, it ways either memory card, or japanese memory card. there a diff?

4th. I need another joystick, i have the original, looks good. are the others i saw better...the new generation stick, or the handheld pad. are there any differences in the joysticks for this and neoCD?

ok thats enough... thanks in advance.

2: http://www.netreach.net/~scop/. I think he also has some fan created inserts for d/l

3. Japanese should be able to work in a US system. Just like JPN games work in the US system.

4: Get the sticks. The pads are crap. Small, they even feel somewhat poorly constructed. Needless to say, both will work on the AES & CD Simultaneously.

I like the pads. My CD system came with the pads and I'm happy with them for two reasons...

1. Easy to hold and my hands fit them well.
2. I don't have any damned space for those honking big joysticks! :)

It probably helps that I don't play ANY fighting games too.... lol

Chunky, Baseball Stars Pro is so cheap that if it's a loose cart, you might want to get another copy complete, and no, you don't want to miss the music of this game, it's awesome, although the AI of this game really pisses me off. Control pad is suited for non-fighters that requires quick button tapping, I find it useful for puzzle games as well as Metal Slug, while I use sticks for fighters. I think Paul at Raven still has one or 2 copies of this game, check it out:

Just a side note, King of Fighters 2002 was just released, one retailer in Hong Kong has the pics uploaded:

I think it's the first game with pink cover, and you can get it in US from http://www.neostore.com or http://www.ncsx.com

King of Fighters 2002 is the best in the series, equal but different, from KOF 98. I can't recommend that title enough.
