When I was in BB today killing time waiting for the UPS guy to finish at Gamestop so I could get my games, I wandered into the gaming section and what did I see? The special GC Zelda promo disc with the 4 classic Zelda games on it.

But it was the price that shoked me $99.99! Damn, you can get it cheaper off ebay. Anyone else see this game in BB for that price, or is it just the one near me (Seekonk Mass.)?

im guessing that UPC rings up as an entire gamecube

Best Buy puts promo stuff at that price so no one buys it outright. I remember those PSX demos that DP mentioned a while back...he found them for 1 cent apiece, but they were $99.99 for others.

I find it hard to believe they still have that there...you should ask about it, maybe you can get it cheap. Mention that it was part of a promotion that has long since expired.

Hey, I was going to say I saw that at my store too, but it's he same store!!
I live in nearby RI and frequent all the southern Mass. stores too. Cool.

The price tag says Promo Clearance on it, so like chrisbid said I too think it comes free with a Gamecube purchase, and isn't for sale on its own.

Ironically, during that year when it was first released, I was working for Toys R Us, and it would come up $79.99 by itself.

I remember walking into Best Buy and seeing the Star Wars Clone Wars/Tetris Worlds Xbox promo disk on the shelf.
