Go ahead and have your chuckles that "the end" began the day the unit was launched, but I happen to like my N-Gage. For others who do, this is a bad sign.

I too love the little hand-held that could, especially after playing the Colin Mcrae 2005 demo. Infact it would be shame for the console to die right when some games that take advantage of its hardware are being released, such as Colin Mcrae, Pathway and Pocket Kingdom :(

Come on Nokia, just give us one more year!

i've mentioned before how i was interviewed and signed up to do n-gage guerilla marketing (ie play it in public for money). they aborted the project before i got a chance but i was impressed with using the ngage during the interview, i still want one. see folks, drop the limitless cool of christianscott27 from your marketing campaign and you're as good as dead :P

yay for me, i just bought my ngage last night . lol
i really hope a few of the titles still in development make it to shelves, there are some promising games that have been announced and it will suck if they never make it :(

Oh it's not like we all didn't see this coming!

....I just expected it sooner.

Either way I'm happy this thing got canned, now I hope I can get one dirt cheap soon. I got about 10 games for it but nothing to play them on.

now I gotta aim toward that "complete collection" when the game prices drop off.

The article just says that one of the UK charts over there dropped the N-Gage off the list.

seeing as how KOF was made by SNK, and SNK are hard headed bastards, i think theres still hope it may come out..
i think its also a possibility worms may be released, because it looks as if it either already complete or near completion.
god i hope we get a few more titles..

its a big deal to me, because i dont want the thing to die because its the shit, but its also gonna be a good oppurtunity to pick up some late release rare titles and hold on to them until everyone figures out they were stupid for not buying one while they were still available.

Yeah I don't think everyone's reading the ARTICLE (or the title of this post for that matter). It's not THE END... it's the BEGINNING of the end.

I was half asleep typing that this morning, came out all wrong.

Meant to say "I'm happy this thing is getting canned", and I know what the article meant, just a conjunction of me sleepy and not thinking too well.

i thought nokia said they were gonna keep doing n-gage till 2006? I think the n-gage is just starting to become popular(ebay prices), it would be really stupid for nokia to kill ngage right now. I mean im convicing more and more people everyday to like the ngage , especially when i show them how much shit my qd can do compared to a regular phone. i honestly think that anyone who has a cell-phone is a complete idiot for not buying an n-gage, IT DOES EVERYTHING!!!!! and you can get them for practically nothing. and even now emu's are starting to work perfect on n-gage, even if you hate n-gage games, you still have access to thousands of roms for it!

Concerning Xanadu...that game alone would be anough for me to buy this system. I don't think there's aever been a English version of this game for any computer or console.

I really hope it still comes out.

The N-Gage never had a chance. I've played a couple games and they were all unimpressive at best. The PSP and DS are going to blow this system out of the water. You can get one for free now with a cellphone plan. I predict around this time next year you will be able to get one nearly for free sans the plan.

2. Pop Celebs use them
3. Rappers mention them quite a few times in there songs.

Why do you think Nike "Air Force Ones" sell so well? Because people like the "Basic" shoe look? No. It's because Nelly had a "song" about them.

I really dig the N-Gage.
Yes, a lot of the games are trash. But I encourage you all who havent played PATHWAY TO GLORY to give it a shot. It really will make you think twice.

I'm enjoying Requiem of Hell quite a bit, too. There are definitely some diamonds in the rough in the game lineup.

The N-Gage's lack of success killed off Taito Memories...THAT is a damn shame. There was (at least at one time; Taito probably scaled back their design) a planned four-player update to Cadash utilizing Bluetooth..!

Nevermind Super Space Invaders, Bubble Bobble, and possibly some other stuff.

No memories, just some dead screenshots and an empty feeling inside. ;-;
