I recently bought this game on Ebay and when i recived it, the manual looked like a copy of the original manual. So i was wondering if the original manual realy was like this, in black & white. Or did it have colors and looks just like the other NES manuals?
It had a purplish cover if I can remember. I'm not sure about the inside, I am thinking it was black and white.

Yes, it is black & white looking, maybe slightly faded purple looking. I actually bought one that said it had a "photocopied" manual thinking the seller was confused but alas it was actually photocopied but looked very much like the original in the pic. That's what it looks like.

Yep, I can confirm v1rich and TRM. The cover is purplish, the rest of the manual is in black and white. Same goes for Mega Man 2 (also had purplish cover, otherwise in black and white) The first MM game who got a full color manual was MM3.

Early NES games were (until around 87/88) as a rule in black and white. (like Gradius, Castlevania, Life Force) The first Zelda was one of the first games who got a full color manual.

Thanks for all the anwers :)
I guess mine arent the original manual then :( My manual is like normal paper, not like the paperquality on normal NES manuals.
I payed about $20 for it, box is near mint, same with the game so im happy with that. But the manual.. going to mail the seller now.

I checked the auction again, its stated that its just a photocopy of the manual. Damn.. i need to read the description more closely next time hehe :)
Ah well.. still happy with it, maybe i find the manual some other time.
