This is the same item, from the same seller, that was up just a week ago with a starting bid of $150 that received no bid. Restarted with $1.00 opening bid and now look...
That lot I let pass by with this in it (along with Strider, Aerial Assault, and a few other choice games) for $160 awhile back is starting to look like a good deal...

This guy has been having some killer auctions lately. Man, and I felt bad when I made a private deal with a guy off ebay for 90. Copy is nice and minty too. Man am I glad I did that. =D

I was wondering why I stopped seeing your names on JBDs Helvin :)
Here's to hoping I can snag mine for a price that somehow connects with reality.

As "uber rare" as people say this game is, it is on ebay ALL the time. Most frequently in system lots/bundles.
And, it has never sold nearly this high by itself. This seems pretty flukey to me.

Not as high as $200, but it seems to have crept into the $120+ range recently. And I'll agree that it's not *that* rare, and certainly doesn't warrant that kind of money - you'll probably see 20 of these on eBay before seeing a copy of SMS Smurfs 2, and the last one of those (1st on eBay in around 2 years) "only" made €150.

OMG! Proceeds from this auction go to charity. Oh wait after reading a little farther down in the listing a whole DOLLAR will be donated. Wow, what a humanitarian. Whoever wins should request a cheritable donation receipt for tax perposes.

$70 bucks shipped. Won it on eBay, didn't meet the reserve, and struck a deal with the seller.
And yep, it's complete and minty!

It shouldn't be that hard to get that game cheaper. It's not that rare.

That may be, but it's still not *that* rare on the wider scale of things.
