Ya know, sometimes it's good to get away from the screen and check out the want ads in the ol' paper. Ran across an add the other day. An email and a 30 minute drive later and wala...

Add the games which I was too lazy to take pics of:

NES

Crystalis
Battletoads
Magmax
Super Mario Brothers 3
Bigfoot
MegaMan 3
Adventure Island II
Caveman Games
Bubble Bobble
Solar Jetman
Deadly Towers
Airwolf
Kubaki Quantum Fighter
Ice Hockey
Final Fantasy
Blaster Master
Super Mario Brothers 2
Zelda Adventure of Link
Game Genie

SNES

Super Mario World
D-Force
SimCity
Aladdin
Zelda a link to the past
Super Metroid
Mario Paint
Street Fighter II
ActRaiser
Final Fantasy III
Super Mario Kart
Killer Instinct
Game Genie

Unfortunately tjhe only boxes were for the O2. Which is ok by me. There were a bunch of manuals though as well,

As I really don't collect Nintendo except for the Virtual Boy, I am going to sell most of these systems and games here. (I'm probably going to keep the SNES though as I have never (thats right) never played one.) I've already got some auctions up and am too lazy, besides I want these to go to people who just want to have fun as they are not really collector quality. I'll keep ya posted.

:D

Holee Smokes, that's a good haul for the O^2 games alone. Price?

Oh, yeah, and I don't know what cabinet that is offhand...that come along with it or just part of your room?

You owe it to yourself to play Final Fantasy VI (well, you have it as number III) and Actraiser, 2 of the best SNES games IMO.

Very nice haul.

Wowie dude! That's awesome!

Our local newspaper posts their classifieds online every day. Fred's right, you never know when something will pop up there! I've heard about several video game auctions and even a couple of arcade games at garage sales that way!

Holy Mother of God, I'm sorry folks. I just started using photobucket. I didn't know those were going to be Rushmorian (Is that a word?) size. I posted this then went to go get my kids. I suppose I shopuld have previewed it. LOL Anyway, folks have been asking about the background stuff. So... I have finally got off my lazy behind and have added my Room O Doom pics. Please check out the other thread.

That's an awesome haul. Did you have to pay for it, or was it just someone giving stuff away?

Good find dude. I myself i'm sort of tempted to call up this guy in NH I found out about in the wants. Guy claims he has around 40 complete genesis games for 100 bucks. It didn't sound to good of a deal to me at first. after all paying 100 bucks for genesis games is kind of nuts, but then again who knows what he has.

Oh, folks have been asking for the price I paid. well, there are some things you just don't talk about unless you just want to brag. I personally don't like braggarts; I find them annyoying and self centered. Let's just say I think I came out very well. 8-) As a matter of fact, if I were to Ebay these things I would come out smelling like a rose. However, (and I'm not a very spiritual man) I think that when one comes upon something that will benefit him/her that they should be thankful and retrospective at the same time. With this particular collection, I happened to have most of the items. OK, I didn't have alot of the NES and SNES items but I had most of the other stuff. I almost turned away from these just because I did happen to have most of the stuff. However, I thought of this board and the folks who would like these so I bought it all. As I said before I will sell most of this stuff mostly the list below:

1. The NES system and most of the games. I may keep the Fantasy and Hockey (Ok, I played that a bunch in college) and the Light Gun ( I don't have one). I don't collect for the NES (even though I have one) and I have no desire to...yet.

2. The Colecovision. I will keep the competition controllers and trackball. (Again, I didn't have those and I have the base system already) but the system and 2600 adapter will be sold.

3. The Odyssey 2. I have one and a bunch of those games; however I will sell this and any duplicates I have. (Be aware all my duplicates are also boxed)

4. Most of the Atari carts. As Atari, Commodore, Intellivison are my main hobbies, I already have these and I will let them go cheap so another gamer can find the great fun and joy in these games.

Anyway, thanks for reading. That being said; what the hell are you reading the silly boards for? Go play some God Damn games!! OK?
