I recently got Atelier Marie & Elie 1 + 2 for DC. Its brand new and i was wondering whats in the box? I dont intend to open it so i was wondering if anyone knows whats in the box that makes it so big?

That's right, a virus on the bonus disc.

Just google Atelier Marie + virus for some reports back in 2001.

"Kool Kizz, the Japanese developers of Atelier Marie, have recalled the game from shop shelves and posted an apology to affected users.

Although the infected version of the game is only likely to have been widely distributed in Japan, anyone who has a copy of the game is advised to either return or destroy it"

Does this make it some-what rare or hard to come by? I doubt it considering I paid £1 for it on ebay (£6 shipping from china though :angry: )

Also, 'advised to return or destroy it' made me chuckle, i just had a vision of someone destroying the games with a big hammer. very funny.. LOL

Dunno. There's lots of Atelier Marie games on various formats and the language barrier will put off Western game collectors so I guess there's not much demand for the Dreamcast version.
