This was EASILY gonna be a top 60 list, but I decided to hack at it, and work it down to 50. There are SO many great games on the SNES, but alas lets us get it down to brass tacks.

I'll try to make this as easy as possible.

Castlevania IV
Chrono Trigger
Clock Tower
Contra 3 - The Alien Wars
Demon's Crest
Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest

Final Fantasy 3
Front Mission
F-Zero
Harvest Moon
Killer Instinct
Kirby Super Star
Knights Of The Round
Legend Of The Mystical Ninja
Mario Paint
Megaman X2
Mickey's Magical Adventure

This should be a helluva debate, I think i've got the ball moving in the right direction, but there are many great titles left off, and surely someone is gonna be cheesed, and i'm sure someone else will disagree. :D

Debate. >:(

[personal rave] Btw, I didn't want to get into imports AT ALL, otherwise Wonder Project J would have been in this list. Anybody, and everybody should check out the translated rom. That game is a masterpiece. :) [/personal rave]

(I was thinking of doing an "unofficial" one again in the same style that I did last time because it certainly seemd to save on arguments arising, plus it was beginning to produce quite a good list.. but, then the crash killed it LOL )

There already is a Top 50 list for the SNES, but I do agree with your starting a new one for people to discuss the choices in, being that the one currently available isn't upto much (unsurprisingly because it was started (and promptly messed up) by the useless chimp formerly known as theaveng).

However for reference purposes.

Back to your topic..

Why isn't Shadowrun in there? @_@

It's original, atmospheric and has a totally original style compared to other RPG's, imo it's easily in the top 10 of the system and it's without a doubt one of the best RPG's on the system.

Flashback.

I Know it was a multi-platform release, but it's a fantastic game and definately deserving of being in the list.

A Question though. Did Clock Tower and Front Mission get US releases?, I thought they were Jap only :? (and you said no imports)

I'd rather not have two of the same topic - why can't we just continue where we left off on the original thread?

Doesn't matter who started the thread, I'm maintaining the lists. So feel free to add/subtract from that list, everything in the Classic Forum is ACTIVE, all the time. So the SNES list you see there is the way we've left it.

Sorry, I don't mean to stomp on your work! But could you cut and paste it over there? Much obliged.
