lol I think the waiting list is quite long. These things just don't exist in the wild anymore, they have all been tossed or added to collections never to be seen again!

I have one from a lit sign, but it isn't for sale of course (see above lol)

I have 2 of them actually, and I think your theory is true. Most collectors (including myself) would NEVER sell them, and I consider mine the 2 best pieces in my entire collection. I was just hoping someone on here either needed some money, or didn't like their sign all that much.

I have a great idea... post pictures of your signs! Or start a thread for it... just so we know what's out there!

well I have an SNES sign i'll be selling soon. it's a tube light though, not neon.

I'll also be selling my PS1/PS2 tube light sign and my PS1 neon. I also have a funcoland neon if anyone would want such a thing. =)

Anyone out there have any they are looking to sell??? I will pay far more than they are actually worth, and more than they will go for on Ebay. Please PM me or reply to this thread if you have any NES era signs.

Thanks

You do realize they sell for about $500 USD on ebay right?

I'd like one or two, from various systems (don't even really care which).

What I'd rather score are some store display kiosks, like a Dreamcast kiosk, PS2 kiosk, playable GBA display, or maybe even some of the older stuff, if I can find it (which I likely can't).

Then I just need some promo boxes and a couple of standups and I've accomplished my objective of making my room of doom look like a real game store.

So, which is it? YOu seem to be full of contradictions as to what you expect of people. My guess is, if you haven't yet gotten a reply, your first post is probably true.

There was an original GameBoy kiosk at Bradlees when it closed for $30, complete! If only I collected back then :(

I also saw a N64 display at a yard sale snatched up for $50. x_x

I realize I said two things that totally contradict themselves. LOL But their are some collectors that could care less about the signs, and are looking to get some serious money, and that is what I am hoping for.

By the way, I have never seen a Nintendo sign sell for anything NEAR $500. @_@ The most expensive sign out there is the Nintendo service center neon that has Mario on it. It usually sells for around $250. I have bought 4 large signs on Ebay, and the most expensive one I bought was $180 (which was a Neon) and my others were all under $155.

There is an antique store near my house with a N64 sign filled with sparkly flashing lights marked at $125 I believe. If anyone's interested, let me know.

Flack:

Thanks alot for the reply, but I am not interested at that price. The N64 fiber optic is only worth around $60, $75 at the absolute most. Offer them that, and see if they take it.
